The strength of a nation doesn’t depend upon its political system; only intellect, collective awareness, and education make a nation great. Nations by means of collective intellect gradually and naturally find the best political system for themselves.
If we study the political system of the UK we will find that it comprises no constitution… I repeat …no constitution, but still ‘’rule of law’’ is practiced. There is no ‘’separation of powers’’ among its organs i.e. judiciary, Legislature, and executive….all organs have mixed powers i.e. there is no distinction between judiciary and legislature; amazingly UK’s senate (House of Lords) is the apex judicial authority. That also jeopardizes the concept of an independent judiciary and compromises fundamental notions of modern democracy. It also lacks so-called basic democratic norms like elections of the senate (House of Lords). The vast majority of lords are selected on a hereditary basis… that again sounds like feudalism….but miraculously…human rights are still safeguarded. There is also an outdated element of clergy (the spiritual lords) who belong to the religious class and are an integral part of the UK’s parliament (Upper house). But still, it protects every religious minority. That’s not all; we will also find monarchical elements (a Queen’s family with superpowers such as the head of state, head of government, and supreme commander of the Royal Army). But it is still an ideal state that is protecting every citizen, religion, and ethnicity.
In short, the political system of the UK lacks all contemporary democratic elements and possesses all outdated political ingredients such as theocracy, feudalism, and monarchy. But the question is how it manages to establish ‘’rule of law’’, how it protects every citizen, how it ensures rights and obligations, and why it is ideal in terms of human rights?
The answer is simple, they have intellect, awareness, education, and hence everyone follows the highest standards of morality.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE INTELLECTUAL AND IGNORANT NATIONS
Queen of the UK never claims her King is alive, unlike those who say JIYA BHUTTO (Bhutto is alive). However, they regard People as alive.
Tony Blair, a former PM was arrested on petty charges of corruption, but his supporters never said ‘’KHATA HAI TO LAGATA B HAI, (Although he plunders, he still spends)’’.
Moreover, martial law is impossible in the UK as it has no constitution, and we know the military needs constitution that can be abrogated.
And when it comes to clergy, the clerics of the UK don’t charge other religions with infidelity or blasphemy. They consider each human as equal in the eyes of law.
In the end, I would say please stop accusing Imran Khan’s govt. He really wants accountability but our establishment, power hubs and immoral society are hindering his efforts. Accountability is impossible unless we stop revering the obnoxious capitalists and specifically those who have ill-gotten HARAM money.
