FIVE HABITS OF BLOODY CIVILIANS

‘’Bloody civilian’’ is a term that became popular in world war eras when Europe and other parts of the world were ruled by military rulers. At that time every resource including human and technology was war-centered. There were two major kinds of peoples, first the soldiers fighting for the national cause, and the other were civilians providing aid to their soldiers. Other than civilians and the army there was a third category of people called ‘’bloody civilians’’. Who were they actually and why they were called bloody civilians?! In this article, we would talk about bloody civilians from different angles.

Bloody civilians were actually those who were not a part of the war, those who cannot fight for their national cause; those who had no skills, those who had no goals, and those who even do not know what national cause or goals are. They were actually inefficient, sluggish, and mentally immature people who cannot play any sort of role in the war or national cause. When the whole nation was fighting for their national interests these bloody civilians were busy gossiping, barking, wandering, and criticizing their war heroes. It was all they could do because social media was not present at that time where they could bark. These bloody civilians even don’t know the purpose of their life. And also when someone tells them any anti-state NEWS they feel highness in sharing it with others in an illusion of becoming intellectual.

I think that’s enough to define the term bloody civilian and we should come back to the topic and discuss five habits.

1. They think that they have no control over their actions and some alien force is manipulating everything, and they have no personal will. They think they cannot do anything without that outer force that is controlling them. For Example, there is a common perception in Pakistan that everything is being controlled by the army or other govt agencies. Here I have a question for these kinda bloody civilians? What the hell they themselves are doing if everything is being done by govt agencies? Why can’t they play the role that they should have played? In short, when these bloody civilians cannot do anything then someone has to cover this leadership vacuum. These bloody civilians blame others for their inefficiencies. As an example of bloody civilians, we can take SHARIF BROTHERS who according to some media sources made 300+ phone calls in their 5 years tenure to top military and intelligence officials just to secure their position and remain in good books of the establishment.

2. In addition to lack of self-control the bloody civilians are morally and financially corrupt. They are coward and run away from battlefield. Ridiculously SHARIF’s are a unique kind of bloody civilian who had no power to rule in their tenures and the only power they had was to do corruption. I was thinking if they had no power being a PM or CM then how they managed to make a lot of money. Does army ordered them to make money at gunpoint! So stupid to say that…

3.  Mental slavery is another trait very common in bloody civilians. They always honor rich and corrupt capitalists and try to copy them. In their inner-self they know how stupid and mean they are but they try to act like a Nobel and respectful. They are pimp (or TOUT) kinda people. TOUT stands for local political/clerical agents who are always busy serving their corrupt masters and hindering social change. Such TOUTS always conspire against honest people and act as a slave to corrupt masters.

4. Another kind of bloody civilians are those who have no idea or concept of the national cause or even the purpose of their life. However, making money through illegal means might be their purpose. They even do not know the purpose of prayers, they may worship five times a day but practically they will serve, support, vote and respect the corrupt masters. Like IQBAL said about these kinda bloody civilians, they bow elsewhere and see elsewhere. Some sluggish cleric-mentality people are always busy trying to convert people to their particular faiths, ideas, sects, or religions. They think that this is the only purpose of life. They always lack knowledge of a common and national purpose i.e. establishment of equity-based society, rule of law, or God’s rule where everyone is fed and treated equally.

5. Hypocrisy is another important trait in bloody civilians. They never had any core ideology or vision; they prefer only self-interest, not common goals. Depending on their self-interest they may act conservatively, liberally, or any other possible way. There are kinda actors trying to act what they are not. They are always pretending like a Nobel and respectable man. But deep in their heart, they know exactly how petty, Pune & mean they are. Mostly they are socially liberal but economically conservative. They always play win-win. They are always looking for opportunities to deceive others and satisfy their selfish appetite.

In the end, I would say if you have one or more symptoms described above then you might be suffering from the bloody civilian syndrome.
